Beaumaris Community Centre Tennis Club offers many opportunities to play tennis whether you just want to have a Social hit with other members, play in Pennant Teams, or join our friendly Night Tennis competitions. We are always delighted to welcome new players to our club.
We also enter teams in the following interclub competitions run by the following associations.
- Bayside Regional Tennis Association
- Tennis Victoria
- Moorabbin & Districts 17 & Under Junior Tennis Association
These associations run a variety of singles and doubles competitions played midweek or on the weekends. They include formats for men’s, women’s and mixed teams.
Below, we have outlined for your convenience, a list of competitions currently available for club members at the BCCTC as well as the relevant contact person.
Tuesday Night Mixed Social Competition
This is a mixed social competition that commences from 7.30pm to approx. 10.30pm. Competition play consists of a selection of teams (chosen at the start of each season – three seasons per year) playing 3 sets of tennis per night.
The cost is a $15.00 registration fee and a weekly cost of $10.00 per member and $15.00 per non-member. The fees also include 3 food/pizza nights, balls and end of season prizes.

Thursday Night Men’s Social Competition
This is a Men’s Competition that commences from 8.00pm to approx. 10.30pm.
The tennis will be doubles and singles and the fees include balls and end of season prizes.

Mid Week Ladies
Competition is available on Wednesday and Thursday.

Senior Men’s Social Tennis
We are a group of roughly 35 men who love our tennis, love the exercise, love socialising and love that cup of coffee at the local coffee shop at the end of our activity. This avid group of keen tennis players who are of all standards and ages meet every week on a Tuesday Thursday and Saturday afternoon at the Club from 12 noon. Should anyone be available on those days they are very welcome to join this group to either play tennis or catch up for a coffee and chat.

Saturday Afternoons
Currently, there is no BCCTC Mixed Team playing in the Bayside Regional Tennis Saturday Afternoon Competition but there is always provision for Men’s, Women’s or Mixed teams available.

Pennant
If you are interested in Pennant Competition, the season runs from May through to September each year. Information can be found on the Tennis Victoria website.

Cardio Tennis
Club Coaches, Tom Paino and Andrew Frankeni are currently running a cardio class on Thursday between 7-8pm. They also take private lessons for adults during the day.
They are always keen to run more cardio classes so if you are interested or want a private lesson please contact our Club Coaches, Tom Paino or Andrew Frankeni.
Junior Competition
Juniors play both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Saturday is a separate boys and girls competition and Sunday can be mixed teams.
Saturdays, have 3 possible commencement times 8:00am , 8:30am and 10:00am
Sundays generally commence at 9:00am but some clubs may have variations for their home games.
